ConGlobal Industries, Inc. Approved as Customs Bonded Container Yard in Chicago, Illinois

ConGlobal Industries, Inc. has been approved to be a Class 4 Bonded Container Yard at its Chicago, IL location. Approval has been granted to ConGlobal to operate the bonded yard to receive, secure and hold arriving in-bond ocean containers that are delivered in-bond via road carrier, in transit until formal CBP release is authorized. ConGlobal Chicago joins the Portland and Seattle locations as bonded yards in the ConGlobal network of locations.

ConGlobal can now offer customers a one-stop location for import and export cargo, eliminating the need to travel to multiple container yards to complete round-trip moves. This offers our shipping line customers and their truckers quick turn-around times for picking up and dropping off loads.

ConGlobal will utilize private security to physically monitor the yard outside normal business hours. This adds an extra layer of security to ensure that in-bond cargo remain intact and in compliance with U.S. CBP regulations.
