ConGlobal Industries, Inc. Records Lowest Level of Workers Compensation Claims

ConGlobal Industries, Inc. saw the lowest level of Workers Compensation claims in the past ten years. In the 2009-2010 plan year, ConGlobal saw an 82% reduction in one of the key measurements for Workers Compensation claims. This is a significant decrease for ConGlobal, where every employee is required to provide and maintain a safe work environment.

In 2005, ConGlobal started a Safety Program with a dedicated person to handle all safety related initiatives at our locations. “In our type of industrial environment, the safety of our employees is the number one priority,” said Mike Baldwin, president of ConGlobal. “Providing a safe and accident free workplace is a simple win-win proposition.  Employees benefit by not being injured and being off from work.  Our customers benefit from a steady and predictable work force that operates at capacity to repair and maintain their intermodal equipment.
