ConGlobal Industries, Inc. Approved as Customs Bonded Container Yard in Seattle, Washington

ConGlobal Industries, Inc. has been approved to be a Class 4 Bonded Container Yard at its Seattle, WA location. Approval has been granted to ConGlobal to operate the bonded yard to receive, secure and hold arriving in-bond ocean containers that are delivered in-bond via road carrier, in-transit from Vancouver, Canada until formal CBP release is authorized. ConGlobal Seattle joins the Portland location as bonded yards in the ConGlobal network of locations.

ConGlobal can now offer customers a one-stop location for import and export cargo destined for Vancouver, eliminating the need to travel to multiple container yards to complete one round-trip move. This offers our shipping line customers and their truckers quick turn-around times for picking up and dropping off loads with an average of 30 minutes or less turn time.

In-bond cargo containers are stacked door to door to deter attempted theft or tampering. The container seals remain intact to ensure that the cargo is protected and not tampered with. ConGlobal will utilize private security to physically monitor the yard outside normal business hours. This adds an extra layer of security to ensure that in-bond cargo remain intact and in compliance with U.S. CBP regulations.
